An established, clinician-owned private dental group in the Aiken area is seeking a patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join its close-knit clinical team. The practice operates on a relationship-driven, out-of-network model designed to eliminate production pressure and prioritize clinical excellence.

Every hygiene appointment is scheduled for a full 60 minutes, giving you ample time to conduct comprehensive assessments, deliver thorough preventive care, educate patients, and leave on time every single day.

What You Will Do

Autonomous Patient Appointments: Manage a schedule designed around dedicated 60-minute appointment blocks for unhurried, quality-first clinical care.

Comprehensive Clinical Care: Administer adult and pediatric prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing (SRP), soft tissue therapy, and topical preventive treatments.

Diagnostic Imaging & Screening: Utilize state-of-the-art digital radiography (intraoral and panoramic) and perform regular oral cancer screenings.

Preventive & Systemic Education: Guide patients on personalized home-care regimens and discuss the connections between oral health and overall systemic wellness.

Collaborative Partnership: Work side-by-side with general dentists who view hygienists as respected clinical co-providers, encouraging open case discussion and treatment planning.

What We Are Looking For Licensure: Valid South Carolina Dental Hygiene License (or active eligibility to practice in SC). Open to experienced hygienists and enthusiastic recent graduates.

Certifications: Current CPR / BLS certification.

Core Competencies: Confident in routine prophylaxis, periodontal scaling/root planing, soft tissue management, and digital imaging.

Approach to Care: A gentle, communicative bedside manner with a focus on trust, continuity of care, and patient relationships.
