About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Formulation Chemist to support product improvement and innovation across formulations and processes. Reporting to the Director of R&D, you will develop new formula prototypes, run lab testing, and maintain quality control to ensure product consistency and reliability. You’ll also play a key role in lab administration and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new formula prototypes and conduct lab testing to drive product innovation

Partner with cross‑functional teams to manage technical readiness for projects

Participate in production trials and support scale‑up from lab to pilot plant through manufacturing

Maintain detailed records of experiments, stability testing, and analytical results

Analyze and interpret test data to identify opportunities for product enhancement

Implement and maintain quality control procedures for consistent results

Collaborate with product development and provide real‑time updates on testing progress

Maintain laboratory safety protocols in compliance with regulations

Order and manage lab supplies and raw materials to keep testing on schedule

Partner with external suppliers to stay current on industry trends

About You

Experience in home care formulation (laundry, APC, ADW, floor cleaner, etc.)

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment

Detail‑oriented mindset with precise recordkeeping

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), mixtures experiments, and statistical approaches

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of formulation and product development experience in personal care, beauty, or home care products

Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP software for ANOVA, DOE, Process Control)
