This page documents, end to end, every way a person gives Colwyn Group consent to exchange SMS text messages — published for consumers, carriers, and campaign reviewers alike. Program: Colwyn Group Recruiting Conversations (conversational 1:1 recruiter↔candidate/client messaging; no bulk or automated marketing).

1 — Website checkbox opt-in
At https://colwyngroup.com/contact, beside the optional phone field, sits a standalone consent checkbox — unchecked by default, and the form submits normally without it. Its label reads, verbatim:
I agree to receive conversational SMS text messages from Colwyn Group recruiters about staffing opportunities, roles, and hiring engagements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Directly beneath it: "Optional — not required to submit this form. See our SMS terms and privacy policy." The checkbox state is stored with the submission, timestamped, as the consent record.
2 — Verbal opt-in on a phone call
When a candidate or client agrees to texting during a phone call, the Colwyn Group recruiter reads this script, verbatim:
"This is [recruiter name] with Colwyn Group. May we send you text messages about roles, interviews, and scheduling? Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. We do not share your mobile number with third parties. Our SMS terms and privacy policy are at colwyngroup.com/sms-terms and colwyngroup.com/privacy."
Consent is recorded in the firm's consent log — phone number, name, date and time, recruiter, and consent source — before any text is sent. Records are retained at least four years.
3 — Inbound text (consumer-initiated)
A person may simply text one of Colwyn Group's business numbers first — the numbers are published in the footer of colwyngroup.com. Texting us first is itself the opt-in; recruiters reply within that conversation.
Keyword handling on all our numbers, with the exact auto-response texts:
STOP (also Cancel, End, Quit) — immediate opt-out. Auto-response: "You are unsubscribed to texts from Colwyn Group. No more messages will be sent. You may reply START to restart them at any time."
HELP — auto-response: "Colwyn Group: You can get more assistance by visiting https://colwyngroup.com. Text STOP to stop receiving messages from us. You can also text START to start receiving messages from us again. You can also refer to our privacy policy on our website."
START — re-subscribes. Auto-response: "Colwyn Group: Thank you for opting in for our texting notifications. Message frequency may vary. Message and Data Rates may apply. To end messaging from us, Reply with STOP. Reply with HELP for more information."
Our first outbound message in any conversation auto-appends: "Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help."
Opt-outs apply across every Colwyn Group number on the campaign, and an opt-out received on any channel — text, email, or phone — is honored.
