About the Role

A behavioral health practice is seeking a Psychiatric Practice Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for patients and staff. This role involves supervising team members, managing scheduling and patient flow, and maintaining workflows and compliance standards. The Practice Manager will also support billing, administrative processes, and practice growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee front‑office operations, scheduling, and patient flow

Supervise staff, coordinate training, and foster a collaborative culture

Manage billing, insurance, and administrative processes

Monitor performance metrics and resolve customer service issues

Collaborate with clinicians to support quality care delivery

Optimize office resources and support growth initiatives

Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications

Strong customer service and patient interaction skills

Background in healthcare/medicine (psychiatric or behavioral health preferred)

Team leadership experience (scheduling, supervising staff, fostering collaboration)

Experience in practice growth, referrals, or outreach activities

Training and onboarding skills

Preferred: prior practice management experience, credentialing knowledge, billing/insurance expertise, EHR proficiency

Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Education: High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
