Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon to provide surgical and procedural care for patients presenting with acute musculoskeletal and personal injury cases.
The physician will focus primarily on upper and lower extremity injuries, providing both surgical and non-surgical treatment while working within a multidisciplinary care environment.
This opportunity is well suited for an orthopedic surgeon who enjoys a high-volume, procedure-focused practice and is comfortable managing acute injury cases.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose acute musculoskeletal injuries involving the upper and lower extremities. Treat orthopedic injuries associated with trauma and personal injury cases. Develop individualized treatment plans using surgical and non-surgical approaches. Perform extremity-focused orthopedic surgical and procedural interventions. Manage patients throughout the treatment and recovery process. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, care teams, and relevant case stakeholders. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Exercise independent clinical judgment while following appropriate standards of care. Required Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Active Texas medical license or eligibility for Texas licensure. Strong experience treating orthopedic and extremity-related injuries. Strong surgical and procedural expertise. Ability to manage acute injury cases efficiently. Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. Preferred Experience
