Clinical Psychiatrist – Interventional & Neuropsychiatry Laguna Beach, CA| Full-Time
About the Role We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist with expertise or strong interest in Interventional Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry. This physician will deliver evidence‑based treatments for patients with complex, treatment‑resistant mood and neuropsychiatric disorders, with a focus on interventional modalities such as TMS, SAINT, and Spravato/Esketamine.
The role blends direct patient care, procedural excellence, collaboration with advanced practice providers, and participation in clinical program development to support high‑quality, measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Evaluate and diagnose patients with treatment‑resistant depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and other complex neuropsychiatric conditions Develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating interventional modalities
Deliver and/or supervise:
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) SAINT Esketamine (Spravato) or IV ketamine Additional interventional therapies as programs expand Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment protocols Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management Program & Quality Leadership Partner with clinical leadership to build and scale interventional and neuropsychiatric services Contribute to protocol development, SOP refinement, and care standardization Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards for procedural services Participate in quality review, outcomes tracking, and performance improvement initiatives Support a culture of clinical scholarship, including case reports or evidence‑based contributions Collaboration & Supervision Work closely with advanced practice providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary clinical staff Provide physician oversight and consultation to advanced practice providers Participate in case conferences and collaborative treatment planning Innovation & Research Integration Support implementation of advanced clinical assessments and longitudinal tracking initiatives Serve as a site investigator or study physician for clinical trials when applicable
Required Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active, unrestricted California medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Eligible for Medicare participation DEA registration
Preferred Qualifications Experience or formal training in TMS, ketamine‑based therapies, or other interventional modalities Experience treating treatment‑resistant populations Comfort working in a growth‑oriented, performance‑driven clinical environment
Compensation & Benefits Total compensation potential: $450,000–$500,000 Includes base salary (~$200,000) + RVU‑based productivity incentives
